Welcome to HALB History Day 2021!
This year's theme, Communication is the Key to Understanding, allowed students to investigate world and US history events from as far back as the 1800s and as recent as the 1970s/1980s.
On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, you will be able to watch the students present their projects via zoom. Please consult this document to see your child's project presentation:
On this website you will register for the contest and upload all documents necessary for judging. All documents related to your project must be uploaded to this site no later than February 4, 2021 @ 11:59 PM.
Thank You For Volunteering Your Time to Judge!
You will register for judging and complete your judging on ths system. There are no paper rubrics this year. Please complete registration by 2/1/21.
On 2/5/20, you will receive your judging assignments and be given time to look at the students' work. Looking at the students' work prior to History Night is not required but suggested. On History Night, (2/11/21) the students will present their work, and you will get a chance to question them on their research. While they are presenting, you will take notes on their work. After you look at all four groups, you will discuss your notes with the other judges in your room, and rank them accordingly. The captain in each group will be responsible for sending the rankings to Ms. Waterman. (email@example.com)
